My passion for exploration came from my parents growing up. They always encouraged my brother and me to get outside and find something to do. My mom would show me beautiful places that she knew that one day we would go together. We often went camping as a family, which only deepened my connection to nature. I am very grateful to have parents that love to explore as much as I do.

They love adventure so much they decided to buy a resort in northern Minnesota when I was 10 years old. I was angry at first when I had to leave my friends and family in Becker, MN to go to a place where I knew no one. But now at 26, I wouldn’t change it for the world. Growing up on a resort I got to be outside as much as I wanted. I met some of the best people that I would have never met without the resort. I am so lucky to have so many awesome people in my life.
